gamescom 2011: Sennheiser presents new additions to its HEAR TO WIN product range

Cologne/Hanover, 17 August 2011 – Sennheiser is setting gamers’ hearts racing: at this year’s gamescom trade fair in Cologne, the audio specialist is unveiling two headsets in its HEAR TO WIN product range for the Xbox 360®, and one for PCs. Visitors can try out the equipment for themselves at the stands run by Sennheiser’s co-operation partners. They will also have the chance to pitch their skills against the stars of the gaming scene in show matches.

“We are delighted to be able to offer gamers such a diverse and entertaining programme once again this year,” says Gerhard Tammen, President of Sennheiser Vertrieb und Service. “As well as presenting the new gaming headsets for PCs and the Xbox 360®, it’s particularly important to us that visitors can try out our headsets live on games consoles. For that reason, we have arranged a number of co-operations for the fair period.” Visitors will be able to experience the quality of the Sennheiser headsets for themselves at the stands of the following manufacturers: Electronic Arts (Halls 5 and 6), Deep Silver (Koch Media, Hall 7), Namco Bandai (Hall 4) and Electronic Sports League (ESL-Arena, Hall 9).

Tips from the mTw Clan professionals
Each day between 13:45 and 14:15, gaming fans have the chance to get insider information from the gaming scene at first hand: in the Entertainment Area run by Deep Silver (Koch Media), stars from the mTw Clan will be answering any questions about the Sennheiser headsets and life as a professional gamer. The Clan has supported Sennheiser in developing the new headsets, as happened over the past year. The team of professional gamers has 40 active players, including several German champion gamers.

gamescom takes place from 17 to 21 August at the Cologne Convention Centre.
